Medical Screening

Two gates: records review first, then the screening day. Know the difference.

Steps & decisions
Submit surrogate records to your clinic
Your clinic reviews all prior OB records. This is the first pass — it costs $300–$600 and takes 1–3 weeks.
Records review call with your RE
The clinic summarizes what they found. Together you decide if the candidate should proceed to in-person screening.

Schedule the screening day
Bloodwork, infectious disease panel, drug/nicotine screen, saline sonogram, physical exam, full medical history. This costs $3,000–$6,000.
Psychological evaluations
Three sessions required: IP psych eval, surrogate psych eval, and a joint session. Must include MMPI or PAI testing.
Where this can loop back

If screening fails, you'll loop back to Phase 2 to find a new match. Records, profile, and prior coaching all carry forward.
